My name is Luis Solorio, I am a professional chef with Mexican roots. I was born in Mexico but I grew up in Pennsylvania.
Even though I grew up in Pennsylvania, Mexican cuisine was instilled in me from an early age by mom, who was a wonderful cook herself. She taught me the importance of fresh and flavorful ingredients. Growing up I always gravitated to being in the kitchen and destroying my mother’s kitchen in the process of creating what I thought were culinary masterpieces. My mother on the other hand did not think the same. Sorry Mom!
I eventually went to culinary school and graduated. I then went on to work for great restaurants, hotels, and chefs. I really honed my skills and learned different cuisines and techniques from those chefs and properties over the last 10 years.
Here you will find creations and dishes I truly enjoy and that are super flavorful. All of the recipes on here will be easy for anyone to follow, no matter what level of cooking experience you may have. I break down every step for you, so you can also make some Tasty AF meals as well.
